Schools are important living environments for our young people. They must offer them a healthy, safe, stimulating environment adapted to their needs, in order to promote their learning and the development of their full potential. This is why acoustics is a fundamental element to be studied in the various living areas of the school: classrooms, gymnasium, documentation centre, etc. The exterior conformity of the building with respect to the residences in the vicinity must also be validated.

Challenges

There were many challenges: transmission of noise between the multipurpose room and the documentation centre, reverberation times of the gymnasium and the multipurpose room, interior insulation of the gymnasium, study of the interior and exterior conformity of the noise induced by the mechanical room.
