Raphaël Duée
P.Eng. M.Eng. - CEO - Acoustic and Vibrations
Over the past years, Mr. Raphaël Duée has acquired a multidisciplinary experience in the architectural, environmental, transportation and industrial acoustic and vibration fields. After being team leader for the engineering firm WSP (Décibel Consultants) and deputy manager of the engineering team of RATP, Mr. Duée now leads his own company A7hz. He has worked on a large set of projects such as acoustic optimization of residential and commercial projects, acoustic and vibration impact studies of railway lines, as well as the optimization of room acoustics, P.A. systems, interior insulation, HVAC systems, monitoring stations, etc. Mr. Duée took part in several research projects in the environmental acoustic and room acoustic domains.

Jean-Frédéric Desjardins
P.Eng. - Canada, Québec Director - Architectural Division Coordinator - Acoustic and Vibrations Principal Engineer
Mr. Jean-Frédéric Desjardins leads the Québec team. Through his education and professional experience, he has developed strong expertise in building mechanics as well as in noise and vibration control (Master’s level, 2017). His broad understanding of project challenges and of other disciplines enables him to support all professionals, both in the architectural and mechanical fields. He has contributed to several large-scale residential projects, as well as major commercial (office towers) and institutional developments (schools, senior residences, hospitals, courthouses, etc.).

Mathieu Wahiche
P.Eng. TRP - Acoustic and Vibrations Senior project director
Passionate about acoustics and audio for many years, Mr. Mathieu Wahiche is a senior project manager and oversees certain major projects from a technical standpoint. He was responsible for equipment for several years, which has given him extensive knowledge in acoustic and vibration measurements. He works on both architectural and environmental projects and is well known for his rigor and professionalism. Mr. Wahiche completed his engineering studies in 2023 in parallel with his responsibilities at Atelier 7hz.

Alexis Martin
Engineer – Director of Innovation – Acoustics and Vibrations
Mr. Alexis Martin graduated from ETS (Maîtrise en Génie Électrique at CRITIAS) and École Centrale d’Électronique (Baccalauréat en Génie Électrique, Paris) in 2015. He has also trained in Non-Violent Communication and is a certified coach. Passionate about music, audio and electronics, he is responsible for the development of acoustic and vibration monitoring stations and an internal coach. His interests are diverse, and include audio, electronics, acoustics, signal processing, biomedical and occupational health and safety. He also organizes internal coaching sessions at A7hz.

Rémi Llinares
P. Eng. - Environmental Division Coordinator - Acoustic and Vibrations professionnal
After specialized studies in acoustic engineering, and with an international experience as an acoustic engineer in Europe and Asia, Mr. Rémi Llinares joined the A7Hz team as a project and business development manager in the Maritime provinces. When he takes off his acoustician cap, he devotes his time to his passions of chocolate and music!

Valérie Toupin-Guay
CPI. Acoustic and Vibrations Engineer Candidate
Valérie is a graduate of the École de technologie supérieure. She completed a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. She also worked there as a research and development intern. Previously, she obtained her college diploma in aircraft maintenance technology. Having worked in this noisy environment, she developed a sensitivity on the subject of hearing loss. In addition, it seeks to improve the existing in order to reduce the environmental impacts of society while promoting comfort and utility. As a result, she joined the A7hz team as a research manager in a desire to participate in the reduction of noise pollution as well as to collaborate on innovation and democratization projects in the field of acoustics.

Pierre Gentil
Eng. PRT – Acoustics and Vibration Engineer
Mr. Pierre Gentil graduated from ICAM – Institut Catholique d’Arts et Métiers. Following this, he gained several professional experiences during which he developed a strong interest in all topics related to acoustic design. Pierre joined the Atelier 7hz team as an acoustic and vibration project engineer. He is building his expertise in both architectural and environmental acoustics by working on a variety of residential and transportation projects.

Soraya Ismaili
Accountant and Administrative Manager
An experienced auditor who thrives in fast-paced environments, Ms. Soraya Ismaili’s primary objective is to build strong, trust-based relationships with clients. Over the years, she has worked with a wide range of clients across various sectors, including public aerospace, private retail, manufacturing, real estate, and steel construction. She now oversees daily accounting and supports management with administration at Atelier 7hz.

Sami Chabane
CPI. Acoustic and Vibrations Engineer Candidate
Mr. Sami Chabane graduated in acoustics and sound design from the University of Aix-Marseille. Following an internship in an acoustic design office in Paris, he developed an interest in the acoustics of rooms and buildings. Sami joined the A7hz team as a study manager in acoustics and vibration.

Martin Fourat
Acoustics and Vibration Engineer – Head of Equipment
Mr. Martin Fourat has solid experience in both acoustics and audiovisual production. After several years working as a vibro-acoustics and psycho-acoustics technologist in the automotive industry, he continued his career in the multimedia and visual effects sector, where he held positions as an editor and operations coordinator. His career path has allowed him to develop a diverse expertise, ranging from advanced acoustic measurements to the technical and organizational management of complex projects. He is now responsible for equipment and works as a project engineer at Atelier 7hz. His rigor, along with his in-depth knowledge of fieldwork and equipment, are essential to the successful execution of projects.

Léonard Brun
Acoustic and Vibrations Engineer Candidate
Mr. Léonard Brun graduated as a generalist engineer from ENSTA Paris, where he developed a strong background in applied physics, mechanics, and numerical modeling. His diverse experiences in multiphysics simulation, marine bioacoustics research, and building acoustics provide him with a multidisciplinary approach and strong adaptability. Curious and passionate, he has a particular interest in acoustics, energy, and environmental physics, and brings enthusiasm and commitment to every project team he joins.

Catalina Puscuta
Software Development and Research Engineer – Acoustics and Vibrations
Ms. Catalina Pucuta’s academic background has enabled her to develop strong expertise in programming and database management, acquired throughout her studies. In addition, her previous experiences at the Maine-et-Loire Department and at Atelier 7hz demonstrate her ability to work effectively within a dynamic team and to successfully carry out complex projects in software development, Artificial Intelligence, and Acoustics and Vibrations.

Olivier Caron-Grenier
M.Sc. Eng. – Acoustics and Vibration Project Engineer
A curious and passionate physicist, Mr. Olivier Caron-Grenier’s research journey at Polytechnique Montréal led to the development of an advanced ultrasonic probe designed to build the next generation of wireless ultrasound imaging methods. His work resulted in a patented technology and a scientific publication. At Atelier 7hz, he divides his time between carrying out acoustics and vibration studies and developing new tools within the Innovation Division.

Simon Lemieux
CPI. Acoustic and Vibrations Engineer Candidate
Mr. Simon Lemieux graduated from Polytechnique Montréal. His specialization in vibroacoustics abroad during the final year of his Mechanical Engineering degree provided him with a strong theoretical background in the field. Passionate about project management and the design of innovative products, he served as Director of the Polyloop Montréal technical society. At Atelier 7hz, he carries out acoustics and vibration studies, particularly in the field of architectural acoustics.

Titouan Commault-Gaury
Acoustic and Vibrations Engineer Candidate
Mr. Commault-Gaury carries out surveys and studies in acoustics and vibrations at Atelier 7hz. He consistently demonstrates a strong ability to adapt to the specific requirements of each project. After his first years of study at ENSIM, he is building on his knowledge and experience at Atelier 7hz.
