At A7hz – Acoustics & Vibrations, the environmental impact of our solutions is at the heart of our mission. In addition to seeking to minimize our impact in our day-to-day business, we seek to rank the solutions we recommend in terms of environmental impact.
Our 4 pillars of responsible consulting
The environmental and social impact of the solutions we advise: We emphasize sustainable, bio-sourced or recycled materials, produced via environmentally-friendly manufacturing processes that limit transport distances. Installation methods are also important, to reduce waste or control volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in indoor air.
Transport logistics: We reduce emissions by sourcing locally and optimizing routes for maximum efficiency. This strategy enables us to minimize our carbon footprint while ensuring efficient deliveries.
Optimizing the use of our tools to limit waste: through regular maintenance for longer life, or through short-term rental for tools that are rarely used. We prefer to reuse our tools rather than buy new ones of equivalent efficiency.
Recycling and reuse: we recycle end-of-life components and reuse materials in new tools, thus minimizing waste.
Achievements and future goals
Our commitment to sustainability has led to significant achievements, such as our system for classifying types of materials and acoustic solutions according to their environmental impact, or several projects completed with an emphasis on environmentally friendly solutions. In the future, our aim is to continue innovating, to make our customers aware of the benefits of sustainable acoustic solutions and to promote sustainability in the acoustic engineering sector.
