Auditorium and Classroom at Concordia University

Global description

The project includes two different spaces of Concordia University of Montreal : An auditorium and a classroom used for active collective learning sessions. The auditorium as a capacity of approximately 200 seats. Special interior design is required as well as acoustics adapted to the use of classroom space without a sound system.

Main Challenges

In the auditorium, the main challenge lay in the design of a suitable acoustic in a project already finalized at 85%. In the classroom, it was important to provide comfortable acoustics for lectures and noisy group sessions.
