Le Gardeur Bridge – Noise and vibration management

Global description

Noise and vibration management program for renovation work on Le Gardeur bridge piers (two bridge sections).  This bridge joins the south shore at Repentigny.

Main challenge

From a noise point of view, the limited space available on a bridge requires expertise and adaptability to implement effective mitigation solutions.

The main difficulty for vibration control was that the works generating the most vibrations were done very close to the piers of the bridge.
