Insectarium | Metamorphosis | Space for Life

 Global description

The metamorphosis of the Insectarium of Montreal City consists of completely rebuilding the building. The project included all the spaces of the Insectarium and consisted of controlling reverberation times and noise in different public spaces.

Challenges

The main concern of the client was the sound comfort for the visitors.  The room acoustics control and the reverberation time are the main challenge to avoid background noise levels that are too high during peak periods (cacophony).
