ISE Metal Sherbrooke Conformity
Global description
The project consisted of establishing whether the compliance of an industrial site in Sherbrooke was respected, in accordance with the regulations of the City of Sherbrooke and based on the method of Instruction Note 98-01 from the Ministry of Sustainable Development. Several measurements were taken at three different points to establish the level of sound emissions, vibration velocities and background noise, and the results were analyzed and recommendations were issued.
Challenges
The main challenge encountered during the measurements was the presence of a gas station near one of the measurement points. This caused irregularities in the measurements, as many of the high sound levels were induced by it.
