The project includes the creation of a house adapted for people with ASD in Varennes, Qc. Atelier 7hz, in collaboration with TAG architecture has the mandate to study all the facets of the acoustics of the project. Indeed, this type of audience is very sensitive to acoustics and the sound environment. This is an innovative accommodation project in Varennes for 16 people over 21 living with an ASD. They will enjoy a living environment that best meets their special needs that can not be met in other types of existing living environments and who no longer need the supervision offered in residence with continuous assistance.

Challenges

Create living spaces with good sound insulation. Adapt the acoustics of the premises to the specificities of people with ASD to ensure optimal comfort.
