Global description

The construction site of a section of the Ville-Marie highway coverage is located in a dense urban environment. So, it is necessary to protect the residents from work nuisance such as noise and vibrations. Atelier 7hz realized a noise control program, a noise monitoring and a technical assistance for vibration management on the construction site.

Main challenges

The main challenge encountered was the noise control of the drills used for the implementation of the piles of the roof structure. From a vibratory point of view, defined thresholds for the CR-CHUM were very restrictive.
