Espace Montmorency in Laval
The project includes a multifunctional complex, including both office space, shops and also housing. The purpose of the study was to ensure comfort with respect to noise levels, particularly for housing and their facilities (Terraces, spa, swimming pool, etc.) and for businesses such as these are spaces that are more sensitive to noise. Two objectives were established: a standard comfort objective and a near inaudibility objective. These objectives were used to establish our recommendations.
The main challenge faced was the scale of the project, which included four towers and a diverse selection of environments. Our report and our recommendations therefore had to take into account the different facets of the complex. Finally, during the development of the project, we were led to conduct additional studies.
